Space Bat

Apparently, a bat latched itself onto the Space Shuttle and injured itself, unable to fly away. NASA had no choice but to launch the shuttle -- and the first bat into SPACE.

This video is a tribute -- to him, and to all of us who DREAM.

More on Space Bat.

Those bats in this montage look nothing like space bat. Is this guy trying to say that all bats look the same? Racist.

Here's a weird coincidence. My friend Michael Masterson's late dad's command pilot wings were being flown into space on that shuttle.

Michael's dad was known as "Bat" Masterson. True story!
